A Full Packed Day In Greece!

From Heather Lantis:
Greetings from Greece!! These last four days have been full of historic wonders, divine food, lack of sleep, and many memories. Currently we are traveling on a three hour bus ride to Delphi listening to a guide teach us all about the many histories of Greece. I mentioned a lack of sleep earlier and that is no accident. Yesterday we had a full packed day seeing the National Archeological Museum, the Acropolis, Mars Hill, the Roman and Greek Agora, as well as the Acropolis Museum. As you can see in the picture, rare historic artifacts were not the only thing that we saw at the National Archeological Museum :) The Acropolis was amazing as well with its incredible historic temples and monuments and despite it being extremely cold due to crazy winds, we still were able to appreciate the magnificence of the view. Mars Hill, the place where Paul preached to the pagan Greeks, was a meaningful experience! After those two places we made a stop at the ancient Greek Agora which was the market place and center of town for Athens in the ancient times. Following a very satisfying lunch we made our last stop at the the Acropolis Museum where we got to see the  original artifacts that were discovered at the Acropolis. All in all it was a great day in Athens with so many wonderful memories. Now after packing up all our suitcases we are headed to Delphi and then on to Italy!!! Hope all is well at home!!
